Alameda PCA Autocross AX08

Just ran the October AX at Alameda with the GGR PCA.  I think this was the first time I had zero instruction.  I'm pretty sure I did worse because of it, will be interesting to see.  Thinking back and looking at my videos there are some spots I could have pushed more and taken better lines.  Ah well, learning.

The course was pretty cool and I found it pretty straightforward to follow.  There were some bits where you could get a bit sideways... I did that with an epic fail on my second run.  I need to learn how to slide still.  Actually I felt like I could have done it and was doing ok but as usual I overcorrected and didn't unroll the steering when I let off the gas... probably should have stayed on gas more....  see end of video.

I turned traction control back on for the afternoon to help my overzealousness.  There was also a cone in the first half I repeatedly hit...as did most everyone else.  I ended up switching course work position in the afternoon since that spot was super active.  I got my sprint running in I guess heh.

Here is the link to youTube video for higher quality....

Gorgeous new 991 Base with sunroof.  I wish Cayman had sunroofs...sigh.

David's awesome Sharkwerks mod'd Cayenne Turbo... It was awesome watching it run the course with 3 people in it.  Also very very very fast.
