Mt. Hamilton run with friend!

Did a drive up Mt. Hamilton... it's been a while with another P9 member formisano who also has a Red 981 Cayman S.  Fun! Here are some pics...

Filling up.  Right as we got there, two local police pulled up as well.  Heh.

Starting on Marsh Creek...somehow this road is also Marsh Creek...

Windmills in the distance down Vasco Rd.  Didn't get any close up shots.

We ran into they guys who work for Specialized bikes testing an E-bike.  They let me ride one, it was cool

Called a Turbo!  With an electric motor that doubles what you put in.  Oh it only costs $6000.

Canepa Tour - PCA Fun Run

On Saturday the Golden Gate Region Porsche Club hosted a fun run from Cupertino down to Canepa in Scotts Valley including a tour of their facilities.  Canepa is an exotic car dealer, restoration service and museum started by racing driver Bruce Canepa.  They had some amazing cars there.  I think in total near a quarter of a billion dollars worth of vehicles.  They deal primarily with low mileage special vehicles that they then put thru an exhaustive, multi-year, restoration and sell.

After the Canepa tour and lunch I opted to head back up Route 9 to Alices to enjoy some more driving as I am not down in this area that much.  I ended up then heading to the coast and heading back home.   A long day but fun!

Had to wake up before dawn to take care of dogs and then leave to get down to Cupertino for the 8am meet up

Passed through some fun fog for just a little bit.
